Please fill out this form and click submit.
Our Whole Lives is a year-long class that equips young people with accurate, age-appropriate information to help them make informed and responsible decisions about their sexual health and behavior. Grounded in a holistic view of sexuality, OWL provides not only facts about anatomy and human development, but the program also helps participants clarify their values, build interpersonal skills, and understand the spiritual, emotional, and social aspects of sexuality.
PARENT ORIENTATION

Thursday, Sept 19th from 6:00-9:00

The parent orientations will last about three hours, and you will be able to:

  • Meet with our new team of trained OWL facilitators, Andy Straussberg, Joanne Iovino & Michelle Morrison.

  • Learn from these OWL facilitators what the course offers.

  • Review the materials shown in OWL.

  • Talk about lunch & snack options for this year's program.

  • Hopefully sign-up your 7th-9th grader for OWL at UU Nashua  & sign the required parent/guardian permission slip!

We encourage both parents/caregivers to attend.  Attendance at these sessions by at least one parent/guardian is mandatory for any young person wishing to participate in the course, even if you have attended an OWL parent orientation in the past.

If you have questions about this, please reach out to Director of Faith formation, Sadie Kahn-Greene

Following the meetings, light snacks and beverages will be served, and we will have an opportunity for further discussion and questions.

We hope you consider this valuable program for your child and join us for this orientation to learn more!
