Interfaith Get Out the Vote Canvassing

Sep 22 and Oct 20, 1pm | Join GSOP and members of other local faith communities for Get Out the Vote Canvassing on September 22 and October 20. All canvassing volunteers will meet at the Unitarian Universalist Church in Nashua at 1:00pm where GSOP staff will provide a training session for all participants. Paper forms, clipboards, scripts, fliers, and pledge cards will be distributed to canvassers and canvassing turfs will be assigned to people in pairs. The canvassing will serve multiple purposes: 

congregants can get to know their community,
encourage people to vote, and
inform people of how to vote absentee, how to find their polling location, and how to register to vote.

After the canvassing event, GSOP will hold a joint debrief session for all the participants to provide feedback and hear stories about others’ experiences
